Welcome to the 2008 Champions Cup
The Thunder Soccer Club and NIKE are proud to host the players and college coaches attending the 2008 Champions Cup. Many very talented young athletes will be competing for a Champions Cup in all of the age divisions. We feel certain that college coaches attending this years Champions Cup will be departing the tournament with many prospects to consider for their programs in the future.
Player Profile Books will be prepared exclusively for the U16, U17 and U18 age divisions. To guarantee that wehave a Player Profile Book for you and your staff, please send an e-mail message to the tournament director, Mike Barry (mbarry@thundersc.org). In the e-mail, please include your name, the name of your college/university, and how many Player Profile Books you would like to receive at check-in.
College coaches can check-in between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Friday, April 18th at the Comfort Inn, 3831 Park Mill Run, Hilliard, Ohio (MAP) or prior to the start of competition at the Spindler Park Officials Tent (MAP) on the morning of April 18th. Tournament Credentials and Player Profile Books will be distributed at check-in.
We have selected hotels to accommodate all teams traveling to the tournament as well as the college coaches. You can review these hotels by clicking on the Hotel Information section of the site.
ALL matches will be played at Spindler Park's located in Hilliard, Ohio (MAP).
